History

On January 1, 1916 a disposition was granted by the Most Worshipful Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of the State of Michigan to organize a Masonic Lodge in East Lansing, Michigan. On January 8, 1916 a Lodge was organized under dispensation of the Grand Lodge and began formal meetings to establish a recognized Lodge in the city of East Lansing, Michigan.

On May 24, 1916 a charter was granted by the Grand Lodge of Michigan to this said Lodge recognizing them as:

East Lansing Lodge No. 480, Free and Accepted Masons of Michigan
